Francis Perron is a highly experienced chamber musician, accompanist, and vocal coach who has worked with numerous prestigious opera companies and music organizations across the globe, including the Canadian Opera Company and Wien Kammeroper. He has been involved in the creation of more than twenty contemporary operas.
Detailed career

A path, a voice.

Francis Perron has extensive experience as a chamber musician, accompanist and vocal coach. He has collaborated with the Canadian Opera Company, Opéra de Montréal, Opéra de Québec, Wien Kammeroper, ARD Musik Wettbewerb, Salzburg Summer Academy, Festival de Royaumont, Nouvel Ensemble Moderne and Société de musique contemporaine du Québec. He has taken part in the creation of over twenty contemporary operas. 

At the same time, he is a recognized teacher. He has given master classes in Canada, the United States, Europe, South America and Asia. A founding member of the Orford Six Pianos ensemble and a member of the Nouvel Ensemble Moderne (NEM) since 2017, Francis Perron has several recordings to his credit. Associate professor at the Université de Montréal's Faculty of Music, he is responsible for the piano accompaniment program and co-director of the UdeM-McGill piano-art-vocal residency.
