About Teresa Rodriguez​

Mexican pianist, conductor and coach Teresa Rodriguez is passionate about music and the development of the vocal arts in her country. Initially trained as a pianist at the National Conservatory of Mexico, she was a conductor at the National School of Music in Paris for three years. She then specialized as a coach in New York for a further three years, working alongside the greatest maestros. Since then, she has devoted herself to training generations of the most talented singers.
She has also been responsible for the preparation of numerous opera productions in Mexico and abroad. Teresa Rodriguez is currently director of the Atelier Lyrique de la Sociedad Internacional de Valores de Arte Mexicano (SIVAM) and director of the Vida y Movimiento music school at the Centre Culturel Ollin Yoliztli in Mexico City. She is also artistic director of the Artescénica association, where she coordinates the Rencontres lyriques de Verano.
