About Henry Ingram
Henry Ingram is Managing Director and Director of the Concerts Division of Dean Artists Management, one of the largest classical agencies in North America representing singers, conductors and stage directors on an international scale. Prior to assuming his position at Dean Artists, Mr. Ingram was associated with VOICEBOX: Opera in Concert and Toronto Operetta Theatre in the Public Relations and Development Department and has served as publicist for Maureen Forrester, Richard Margison and Brett Polegato among others. Recognized for his knowledge of the musical world, he has been called upon to adjudicate for the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, Jeunesses Musicales du Canada, NATS/Canada, Montreal Symphony Competition, the Royal Conservatory of Music, Canadian Music Competition, the Guelph Spring Festival and the Glenn Gould School Concerto Competition. He has given seminars on Arts Management at McGill University, the University of Toronto, for Summer Opera Lyric Theatre and at the Glenn Gould Professional School. As a performer, he appeared with major opera companies and symphonies in Canada, the United States and Europe, distinguishing himself in the works of Orff, Bach, Handel, Britten, Lehar, Strauss and Moussorgsky. He was featured as Nanki Poo in the award-winning production of MIKADO at the Stratford Festival and was also a frequent guest panelist on CBC’s ‘Saturday Afternoon at the Opera’. Mr. Ingram is a graduate of Florida State University’s School of Music and holds a Diploma from the University of Toronto's Opera School.
